Perangkat besutan Apple ini memiliki nama lengkap Apple iPhone 12 dan diperkenalkan pertama kali pada 2020, October 13. Perangkat ini mengusung chipset Apple A14 Bionic dan berjalan di atas sistem operasi iOS 14.1. Sampai berita ini diturunkan, harga Apple iPhone 12 masih menjadi tanda tanya. Menurut informasi awal pada saat kali pertama diperkenalkan, perangkat ini memiliki dimensi 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.4 mm (5.78 x 2.81 x 0.29 in) dengan bobot mencapai 164 g (5.78 oz). Body-nya terbuat dari komponen Glass front (Gorilla Glass), glass back (Gorilla Glass), aluminum frame dan hadir dalam varian warna Black, White, Red, Green, Blue. Sedangkan untuk slot SIM card, Apple iPhone 12 menanamkan Single SIM (Nano-SIM and/or eSIM) or Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) – for China.

Seperti telah disebutkan sebelumnya, perangkat ini mengusung chipset Apple A14 Bionic dengan CPU Hexa-core dan GPU Apple GPU (4-core graphics). Komponen pemrosesan tersebut dipadankan dengan tempat penyimpanan sementara atau RAM berkapasitas 4 GB dan memori penyimpanan sebesar 64GB/128GB/256GB storage, no card slot. Dan untuk daya tahan penggunaan, Apple iPhone 12 ditopang dengan baterai berkapasitas mAh berjenis Li-Ion.
